Balsa wood strips, graded by density
ECUBALSHEET manufactures balsa wood strips, also called balsa sticks, 1–4 in thick and wide and 8–48 in long. They are kiln-dried, squared and graded by density from 5 to 20 lb/ft³, and supplied FCL or LCL.

Drying and certification
The wood is sanitised and kiln-dried down to 8 – 12 % moisture with our specialized drying program, the key to the quality of our products. The number of days depends on the dimensions: the thinner the strips, the fewer drying days they need. Our products are certified pest-free by AGROCALIDAD and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Aquaculture and Fisheries of Ecuador.
What they are used for
Model aircraft structures, scale models, prototypes and lightweight structural parts.
Packing and export
We ship FCL (Full Container Load) or LCL (Less than Container Load), in 20 ft and 40 ft containers. Incoterms: EXW (Ex Works, at our factory), FOB (Free On Board) Guayaquil and CIF to your port. With every shipment we provide the export documents: commercial invoice, packing list with photos of the shipment, quality control document, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate and bill of lading (B/L).
