Hulls and decks
In boatbuilding, heavy-grade balsa is used as the core between fibre laminates: it absorbs impact, resists shear and does not delaminate under fatigue. We supply blocks and sheets in the density the yard specifies.
Automotive and aerospace
Composite parts that need stiffness at low weight: floors, bulkheads, panels and secondary structures. Heavy and extra heavy grades (200 – 288 kg/m³) for the highest mechanical demands.
Guaranteed density
We weigh and grade every piece. You receive homogeneous lots within the grade you specified, dried to 8 – 12 % moisture and certified pest-free.
Formats
Glued blocks 4" – 8" × 24" × 8" – 48"; sheets from 1 mm to 4" thick; sticks 1" – 4" per side. Sold by full container, FOB Guayaquil or CIF.
